What happens to a thought censored

Does it cry out for help

like a drowning child

perhaps gets shoved into a closet

forgotten forever?

Will it escape from prison

or wait for parole?

Maybe face execution

preferable to non-expression?

Can it ever develop

into a paradise?

will it ever become an idea

join its conceptual friends?

Perhaps it will wilt away

and the guards will leave?

But it might strike back

and fight to be heard.
